http://qvox.org/site/webalt/ is a start of an osalt-type directory which I hope will one day replace this wiki page.

I just noticed that Server-Apps.org and the website openDesktop.org seem to be under a non-free license: http://www.opendesktop.org/legalnotice/ Such a software could help build a WebAlt site (mentioned above).

Free Network Service Instance Directory From the end-user perspective is very had to find free web applications (partly solved by this wishlist) and then it is hard to find instances of that software, except for those hosted by the developing company. FNS Directory/search engine should solve this issue. AboutUs.org Handles the problem of tracking instances

One thing that doesn't exactly straddle the consumer type experience and corporate type ones is something like WebEx/Adobe Connect. Open, Cross-platform presentation giving.
