Autonomo.us needs a logo.
Notes on the genesis/meaning of other logos as food for thought:
- Gnu (GNU project) -- from the acronym GNU
- Penguin (Linux kernel) -- no idea
- Demon (BSD) -- from software demons
These seem to be wordplays rather than symbolizing anything the project in question stands for.
A porcupine would be an example of a meaningful logo, but that says others' "hands off" which is not really what autonomo.us is about -- rather the user keeps "hands on".
