We're not concerned with desktop software <em>at all</em>. We're entirely about the cloud. Our driving goal is to ensure that users of software-as-a-service have the same freedom of choice -- autonomy -- that users of Free Software on their own desktop or laptop have. We may take freedom on the desktop as a metaphor, but other people are working very hard, and doing a very good job, of ensuring that users can have a free and open source desktop stack.</p> So, I think Steve’s got a slight misunderstanding of the point of autonomo.us.
